A Word on Dice Control

Most craps players will do anything to put the odds in their favor. For most craps players, this means playing with some of the safer bets to keep their house edge to a minimum. For others, this means stooping to the low levels of past posting or even simple theft. There are however, some craps players who walk the thin line that divides cheating and fair play. These special craps players have dedicated thousands of hours of practice to learning how to roll the dice perfectly. They believe they can take the randomness out of craps by implementing dice control.

Dice control is not technically cheating. At the same time though, casinos are not too fond of people taking more money than they lose. This means if a casino believes you are successfully controling the craps dice, they will likely escort you off the property, but you won’t be facing any legal issues. The biggest hurdle facing dice controllers though is not the fear of being caught, but the difficulty of learning their trade.

To master the art of dice controlling, you cannot simply read a guide or two and then go make millions. The dice controllers who actually can influence the dice are able to do so because they put the time and effort into practicing. This means you need your own regulation craps table IN YOUR HOME to practice with. I won’t go into details about propper gripping techniques or throw angles because these things vary widely depending on who you choose to believe. Try searching the web to find out the details.

Is it really possible to control the dice? Yes. Experts have recorded thousands of controlled throws and they can widely swing the statistics. For even the most experienced dice controllers though, the advantage is only useful if you are playing intelligently to start with. Pretty much line and come bets so there is only a tiny amount of house edge to overcome. Think you have what it takes? Do some more research and accept the reality that you will need to put some serious effort into it.
